On the 3rd day of the 9th month of the Tibetan Royal Year 2153, which is 13 October 2026, the monastery marked a special day: the parinirvana anniversary of Kunkhyen Jigme Lingpa. He was a great holder of the teachings and a learned and accomplished master of the Secret Tantra Nyingma (Early Translation) tradition. A grand celebration was held at Ngagyur Dundul Raptenling Monastery.
The event was led by Lama Kalsang Nyima Rinpoche and Lama Kalsang Gyurmey. It took place before a large gathering of teachers and spiritual friends, the leaders and village heads of Camp No. 3, and many devoted members of the public.
The students of the shedra (philosophy college) and the school of Ngagyur Higher Institute Shenphen Shedrub Ling presented their learning through the three scholarly activities of exposition, debate and composition. Their brilliance shone like the sunlight of the Dharma, and spread the canopy of study and reflection throughout the community of the teachings.
